To Cinema Link, I recently purchased your KORDZ HDMI Master Series Cable and use it to drive Blu-Ray moves from the PS3 to a large True-HD LCD TV. The results are simply awesome, we compared the KORDZ with more expensive cables and found that blacks were more pronounced and certain shadings were crisper. The whole experience has been a series of surprises - surprised that delivery took 1 day from ordering, surprised at how beautifully presented the KORDZ cable was (I am not used to silk lined fancy boxes), and surprised at how crisp and clean the images are in comparison to other cables. If people knew what I know, they would not go anywhere else for their Home Theatre Cables.

I've been really happy with your last generation HDMI cable for DVD usage (18 months), so now that I've just added a HDMI Xbox 360 to my system I've purchased your newer evo-s HDMI cable to hook it up. The Xbox 360 now runs at 1080p Enhanced with your HDMI cable which is markedly better than even Xbox's AV component cable (which can only run 1080i on my 50" Viera plasma). I'm seeing slight hue and shape subtleties that I've never seen before, and as a result colours/shapes are defintely sharper/crisper. So thanks! But don't ask my wife for a testimonial now that her husband is on the end of a controller more often!

A 46" Samsung M8 LCD TV plugged into a Topfield HD PVR mysteriously stopped displaying video through the HDMI inputs after about 3 months of use. It worked through the 3rd HDMI input on the side of the unit, but that lasted about 15 minutes when the colour suddenly washed out, a number of analogue style noise lines appeared through the picture, massive amounts of digital picture break-up set-in, and then the screen went completely black and said no signal (just like the other HDMI ports did before it). It worked fine through component in, so we knew the Topfield was functional. Rang Samsung warranty repairs, spoke to a Service technician who said it was a settings thing, and there was nothing he could do. If he came out, Samsung wouldn't pay him as it wasn't a warranty repair issue. He wouldn't (or couldn't) elaborate, and much arguing later, I decided to search the internet for potential answers. Searched the net and there was a massive amount of speculation and (mis)information regarding the problem with Samsung HDMI 1.3a ports on their display panels. It appears that they require a HDMI 1.3a specification cable in order for them to work consistently (or at all in some cases) regardless of what version HDMI port they may be connected to at the other end of the cable. Purchased an evo-s HDMI 1.3a cable from Cinema Link, plugged it in, and the picture worked straight away. Not only that, but we now have audio through the HDMI input (which we never had using the old cable). The old cable does actually work on an older device that doesn't support HDMI 1.3a, but will not work on the Samsung LCD anymore (don't know why). This could turn out to be the cheapest and most convenient/effective warranty repair ever made to an LCD TV.

Congrats on the new name and the website absolutely fantastic. I finally have purchased the Master LFE cable and let me tell this thing is a Gem. From the great fit connection to its rigid feel you can feel the 18awg content. The overall sound has improved right through to all the speakers especialy to the sub, the bass is tight and very accurate right down th 30Hz and the sound is just unbelieble.

Gday Jack. It's decent of you to refund the $10. Yes, I'd anticipated that the speaker cables came in pairs, but after thinking about it, it made sense, so I was happy to order another one. The difference in sound, compared the bare 'electrical wire' setup is remarkable. Tinnyness at higher volume level has gone. Gives the CEC amp53 and TL51XR CD player and Legend Acoustics Kama speakers a chance to show their best. U beaut!

I hooked the Vector Cable up between the CD and AV amp and was impressed, even though this is really designated for the TV to Amp connection and the sound was most pleasing. I didn’t have time to try the Vortex but I’m sure it will be another improvement even in the CD to Amp setup without the DAC in between. Also I’ve had time to set up the subwoofer properly and the difference that your cable has made is amazing. The bass is really tight and well integrated with the front speakers. The sub is now at the back of the room being the sofa but it’s impossible to tell that it’s there as the sound is so integrated.

Hi, just a quick bit of feedback. On the weekend, I ordered a pair of sub cables to bi-amp my speakers. They arrived today and I’ve hooked them up and spent a bit of time listening to some 2 channel music. The bi-amping has made a big improvement in sound and I’ve no doubt that this is in part due to the quality of the Kordz cables. I’ve tried many cables including some custom made Canare cables and these are up there with the best of them. Thanks again for the very fast shipping and excellent product.

"Great service ordered Monday here Wednesday. The balanced cables made a BIG difference, sound is great. I hear more detail & sound stage. I was concerned things could get a bit harsh but it is so sweet out of my Primare pre now much better than the $$$ rca cables I have been using. I have done a few further tests with the cables against my other cables (IXOS) & cheaper as well as a set of Eichmann RCAs I had to test. I will be sticking to the Vortex & will be after a couple more when I sort out the rest of my gear & know what lengths I need. I have been having a few power amp problems (in twice to get fix in the last month & still there) that has slowed the final setup. The Eichmann were HARD on female vocal (they had “nose” problems) & didn’t add anything to the sound stage or detail as far as I could hear on my gear."

"Let me just add also the service I received from Gregory was exceptional. I asked if I could have an extra 100mm or so in length extra from the metre cables that I ordered, because on your website I did not know if I could this or not. Anyway long story short the cables are perfect, the wife even though they were the nicest looking cables that she had seen, she quoted that it was a pity they had to be hidden. As for me, the cables made a massive difference to my viewing….. Many thanks once again and I know where my first stop shop for cables is now.
